About Coocoo Campers

Hi! My name is Fiona and this is Coocoo Campers.

This family run business was started from a love of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and wanting to share this wonderful adventure with others. We currently have two campervans, Big Ed and Effie for hire and we are excited to share these custom built, high spec, quality vans with you. 

I have loved van adventures for years and so when I designed these vans I wanted to make them very comfortable (first and foremost) with the best use of space as that's what I find important on my trips.  The wee guy next to me is Floki the Viking, he’s the trusted companion and loyal best friend and loves a van adventure with me. Along with my daughter Lois, we decided to rent out these awesome vans so that everyone can enjoy the experience as much as we do. She is studying in Glasgow and helps with the IT! I’ve been van mad for years so it makes sense to make it my business.

I also suffer from PTSD and I have found that getting away in the van into the peace and serenity of the Highlands has helped me massively. It’s so good to park up next to a beautiful body of water, breathe in the fresh air and admire the gorgeous scenery. Just bliss.

We want your campervan experience to feel like a home from home and a bespoke adventure with a touch of luxury.  You can bring your dog and your mountain bikes and there is still room for SUPs and the most incredible local food and drinks.  The Highlands are spectacular and you will experience a different vista around every corner, with so much to see and do along the route.
